I love reading and reviewing books. I will review any kind of book: old, new, or soon to be released. I am open to reading anything. Please read my policy below for more information.
- I enjoy all genres of books, but lean more towards fantasy, historical fiction, and contemporary.
- I do not earn any money from my reviews, and do not accept compensation for reviewing books on my blog.
- I happily accept both physical and e-book formats.
- I will do my best to review every book I accept, but my acceptance of a book is not a promise to review it.
- If you have a specific date, or other specifications for the review please include them in your review request.
- All of my reviews will be posted across my social media accounts. If there is somewhere specific you would like me to share my review please include that in your request.
I’m pretty generous when deciding on how I should rate a book. All of my reviews are based solely on my own opinion and I’ll always be honest about the things I did or did not like about a book.
Rating Guide
I provide a simple five star rating along with all of my reviews. I like to think I rate pretty fairly based solely on my own opinion of each particular book. I always rate each book honestly, and just because I did not like a certain book that does not mean you won’t so be sure to read the reviews as well!
- 1 Star – I either only read a part of this book and decided not to finish reading it, or I was barely hanging on to this book and made myself finish reading it.
- 2 Stars – I didn’t really like this book, but I found one or two things I liked enough to continue reading.
- 3 Stars – I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend, but more than likely wouldn’t read more than once.
- 4 Stars – I really liked this book, possible reread. but there were probably a few things I did not like that kept this book from being a five star read.
- 5 Stars – I loved this book. A definite reread. Highly recommend.
